Terms and Conditions of Service – WEDA Events

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern the relationship between you (“User”) and WEDA Events when accessing or using our website wedaevents.com and/or our mobile/PWA application (app.wedaevents.com) (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these T&C.

Article 1 – General scope and acceptance

By browsing, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you expressly accept these T&C without reserve. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You represent that you have reached the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are underage, you must have valid consent from your legal guardian.

You must not use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws.

WEDA Events may modify these T&C at any time, with immediate effect upon posting on the website/app.

Article 2 – Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content available on the Services (text, graphics, UI, logos, icons, images, videos, code, databases) is owned by or licensed to WEDA Events and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may access the content for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our content or Services.

“WEDA”, “WEDA Events”, and associated visual identity are protected marks.

Article 3 – Registration & Account

Some sections require account registration. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain your account securely.

WEDA Events uses token-based (JWT) authentication. Public content may be available without login.

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach or misuse. For concerns, contact contact@wedaevents.com.

Third-party authentication

Where supported, you may sign in via identity providers (e.g., Sign in with Apple/Google/Facebook). Their respective terms apply.

Article 4 – Platform Nature & Events Aggregation

WEDA Events is a platform and content aggregator for dance events, artists, venues, and related information. WEDA Events is not the organizer or seller of third-party events unless explicitly stated.

Event details may change without notice. Users should verify information directly with organizers.

If external ticket links exist, contracts are between the user and the third-party vendor. Refunds, disputes, and access issues follow the vendor’s terms.

Article 5 – User Generated Content (UGC) & Moderation

If you submit content (e.g., avatar, comments), you guarantee rights to that content and compliance with applicable laws.

You grant WEDA Events a limited license to host and display such content to operate the Services.

Prohibited content includes unlawful, abusive, hateful, infringing, misleading, or harmful materials. WEDA may remove content at its sole discretion.

Article 6 – Acceptable Use

• Do not hack, disrupt, overload, or bypass security features.
• Do not scrape or harvest data except where legally permitted.
• Do not use the Services for fraud, spam, or unlawful activity.

Article 7 – Third-party Links

The Services may include links to external websites. WEDA Events is not responsible for third-party content or policies. Access them at your own risk.

Article 8 – Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. WEDA Events does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or accuracy of content.

Participation in dance events involves inherent risks. WEDA Events is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages arising from attendance at third-party events.

Article 9 – Liability

To the extent permitted by law, WEDA Events is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including data loss, profits, or goodwill.

Article 10 – Indemnification

You agree to indemnify WEDA Events from claims arising from your breach or misuse of the Services.

Article 11 – Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for misuse, fraud, or breach. Sections like IP, liability, and indemnity survive termination.

Article 12 – Governing Law & Venue

These T&C are governed by Romanian law. Disputes go to the courts of Bucharest. EU consumers may use the ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 13 – Privacy & Cookies

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy & Cookie Policy, available on our website.

Article 14 – Service Changes & Availability

We may update, modify, or discontinue features without notice.

Article 15 – Entire Agreement, Severability, Assignment

If any clause is invalid, the rest remain valid. You may not assign rights without our consent. These T&C form the entire agreement between you and WEDA Events.
